Mornington Peninsula, with its picturesque Schnapper Point and the renowned Rocks Restaurant, was a place that held a special place in my heart. It was a destination that I frequented, a location that had become a familiar haven for locals and visitors alike. The scenic beauty of Schnapper Point, where people strolled daily, had always been a source of inspiration for me.
However, on this particular day, I was determined to capture something new, something that would offer a fresh perspective on the familiar landscape. With the goal of showcasing the Mornington Peninsula in its summer glory for my upcoming book, I decided to take to the skies with my trusty drone, as a plane would have been too high for the shot I envisioned.
The day was quintessentially perfect. The sun, in all its radiant splendour, cast a warm and inviting glow over the landscape. As I launched my drone into the azure skies, I couldn't help but be filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement. The pristine summer weather had painted the world in vibrant colours, and I was determined to capture that essence in a single frame.
As the drone soared over Schnapper Point, I manoeuvred it to capture the unique perspective that I had envisioned. The first light of the day kissed the point, casting a golden hue over the scene. Great question! Here's what we recommend...
- CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
- ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
- METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
- FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
- ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.
- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side
- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.
