THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO
The day began with an unusual mix of atmospheric conditions. The sky had darkened with heavy clouds that roiled with intensity, and distant rumblings of thunder reverberated in the air. I knew that something extraordinary was about to unfold, and I was determined to capture it.
As I ventured to the location where the lone tree stood on the horizon, a sense of anticipation coursed through me. The tree, its branches silhouetted against the tumultuous sky, appeared isolated and exposed, a stark contrast to the chaos brewing behind it. It was a symbol of solitude in the face of nature's fury.
With my camera in hand, I framed the shot, carefully composing the image to highlight the stark beauty of the lone tree. The contrast between the tree's solitary form and the electrifying backdrop of the approaching thunderstorm was striking. The dark, brooding skies and the ominous cloud formations added an element of drama to the scene.
Photographing this unique moment was both exhilarating and challenging. The ever-changing lighting conditions demanded precise adjustments to capture the essence of the storm. The desire to convey the intensity of the moment required careful timing and composition. Each click of the shutter aimed to encapsulate the vulnerability of the tree in the face of nature's relentless power.
As I framed my shots, I couldn't help but be captivated by the sheer force of the approaching thunderstorm. It was a reminder of nature's unpredictability and its capacity to both create and destroy. The lone tree, standing resolute, represented the tenacity of life, enduring even in the most tumultuous of circumstances.

WHICH FINISH?
Great question! Here's what we recommend...
- CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
- ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
- METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
- FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
- ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

WHITE BORDER
All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.
- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side
- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.

- 60 x 40cms - suits a study, hallway, or between doorways
- 100 x 75cms - suits walls above side boards and fireplaces, for example
- 150 x 100cms - suits walls above couches and beds, for example
- 150cms plus is best for large 300cms plus walls, like a living room.
