For years, I had been searching for the elusive tall trees on the Peninsula. I had seen them in tourist brochures, their towering forms promising a sense of awe and wonder. Yet, despite my efforts, I never knew where to find them. My quest seemed destined to remain unfulfilled until one fortuitous day when a couple visited my gallery. They worked with Landcare and, in the course of our conversation, gave me the inside scoop on where to find these majestic giants.

Excited by the prospect of finally encountering these trees, I planned an early morning excursion. On a cold, winter's Sunday, I left home well before dawn, eager to arrive at the new location before sunrise. Navigating mostly by instinct, I ventured into the damp forest, guided by the faint light of the approaching day and the melodic chirping of birds greeting the morning.

The forest was still cloaked in darkness when I rounded a bend and encountered an incredible scene. The first light of the rising sun bathed the trees in a soft, warm glow. Mist hung delicately in the background, adding an ethereal quality to the landscape. The stillness was profound, and the silence almost palpable, broken only by the occasional rustle of leaves and distant bird calls. WHICH FINISH?

Great question! Here's what we recommend...

CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

WHITE BORDER

All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.

- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side

- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.
