THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO
The day began with a sense of anticipation as I ventured into the heart of Lamington National Park. The forested trail led me through towering ancient trees, their moss-covered branches creating a canopy that filtered the dappled sunlight. The air was thick with moisture, and the sound of cascading waterfalls added to the enchanting atmosphere.
As I descended deeper into the rainforest, the world around me seemed to transform. The mist, like a delicate veil, began to envelop the trees and ferns, casting an enchanting and mysterious aura over the landscape. It was as if the rainforest itself was breathing, and I was there to witness its ethereal exhalation.
With my camera equipment in hand, I set out to capture the magic of the mist. The soft, diffused light and the interplay of shadows added a dreamlike quality to the photographs. The mist itself, like an elusive spirit, danced through the trees and veiled the distant landscapes.
Photographing the mist in the rainforest was a challenge. The ever-changing lighting conditions demanded precision in exposure settings, and the need to capture the intangible nature of the mist required patience and careful framing. Each click of the shutter aimed to convey the serene and mystical beauty of this elusive phenomenon.
As I framed my shots, I couldn't help but be humbled by the timeless grandeur of the rainforest. Lamington, with its ancient trees and vibrant undergrowth, became a canvas for the dance of light and mist. It was a reminder of the enduring beauty of the natural world, where the ephemeral and the eternal coexisted in perfect harmony.

WHICH FINISH?
Great question! Here's what we recommend...
- CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
- ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
- METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
- FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
- ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

WHITE BORDER
All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.
- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side
- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.

- 60 x 40cms - suits a study, hallway, or between doorways
- 100 x 75cms - suits walls above side boards and fireplaces, for example
- 150 x 100cms - suits walls above couches and beds, for example
- 150cms plus is best for large 300cms plus walls, like a living room.
