The Little Blue Heron of Costa Rica may not be as flashy as some of its tropical neighbors, but it has a quiet elegance that’s hard to ignore. With its slate-blue feathers and a graceful neck that curves like a question mark, this heron looks like it belongs in a watercolor painting. When it’s young, though, it’s a totally different story—it starts life as a snow-white fluff ball and slowly morphs into its blue-gray adult feathers over time. WHICH FINISH?
Great question! Here's what we recommend...
- CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
- ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
- METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
- FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
- ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

WHITE BORDER
All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.
- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side
- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.

- 60 x 40cms - suits a study, hallway, or between doorways
- 100 x 75cms - suits walls above side boards and fireplaces, for example
- 150 x 100cms - suits walls above couches and beds, for example
- 150cms plus is best for large 300cms plus walls, like a living room.
