Arriving in Botswana and having the chance to embark on a Chobe River wildlife cruise within hours felt like a serendipitous and thrilling start to my journey. Botswana is renowned for its rich wildlife, and Chobe River is a prime location for observing and photographing some of Africa's most iconic animals.

The anticipation of potentially encountering elephants, let alone baby elephants, by the water is both exciting and a bit uncertain. Nature often unfolds its beauty and surprises in its own time, and it's wise not to get one's hopes up too much. However, in my case, it seems like the elephants were eager to provide a magical experience.

They emerged from the forest in large groups and confidently entered the water without hesitation right in front of me. Witnessing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, frolicking and bathing in the river, is a sight that many people can only dream of.  This baby elephant was having the time of its life cooling off, playing and rolling in the water, not unlike a child would.
