Photographing at the waterfall at Bell Gorge, along the rugged Gibb River Road in the Kimberley, after sunset was an adventure filled with anticipation and excitement. I had heard stories of the waterfall's beauty and the enchanting atmosphere that enveloped it during twilight, and I was determined to capture that magic with my camera.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the landscape in a soft, golden light, I made my way to the waterfall's edge. The sound of rushing water grew louder as I approached, and the cool, refreshing mist from the cascade kissed my face. The surroundings were bathed in the soft, fading hues of dusk.
Setting up my camera on a sturdy tripod, I adjusted the settings to capture the cascading water with a silky, ethereal quality. The diminishing light was both a challenge and an opportunity, and I was ready to make the most of it. The soft afterglow of the sunset was the perfect backdrop for the photograph I envisioned.
As the light continued to wane, the waterfall came alive with a mesmerizing glow. The water, reflecting the colors of the darkening sky, took on a surreal, dreamlike quality. I couldn't help but marvel at the transformation that was taking place before my eyes.
The remote and pristine surroundings added to the enchantment of the moment. The Kimberley's wilderness was all around me, and the serenity of the waterfall at this hour was a profound experience. The rush of water over the rocks created a soothing symphony that seemed to resonate with the tranquility of the evening.
I began to photograph, each click of the shutter capturing the waterfall's beauty in the soft, post-sunset light. The composition, the play of light and shadow, and the cascade's graceful flow all came together to create a visual masterpiece.
With the diminishing light, the photographs took on an almost mystical quality. The water seemed to come alive, frozen in time, yet full of energy and grace. I continued to shoot, losing track of time in the process.
The remote location and the serene ambiance of the Kimberley at night were unforgettable. I was in my element, fully immersed in the art of photography, appreciating the natural beauty that surrounded me.
As the darkness deepened, I knew it was time to wrap up the shoot. With a sense of contentment and fulfillment, I packed up my camera gear. The waterfall at Bell Gorge, after sunset, had been a spectacle of beauty and tranquility that I would forever hold dear in my heart and in the photographs I had taken. It was a magical experience that had made my journey along the Gibb River Road truly extraordinary.

- CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
- ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
- METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
- FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
- ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

WHITE BORDER
All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.
- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side
- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.
