Photographing a lone mangrove standing in the sea, surrounded by the vast expanse of water at Roebuck Bay in Broome, was an experience that resonated with a sense of solitude and the enduring strength of nature. It was a scene that captured the essence of this unique coastal environment, and I was eager to immortalize it through my lens.
Roebuck Bay was a place of stark beauty and tranquility. As I made my way to the shoreline, camera in hand, the feeling of isolation and peacefulness washed over me. The azure waters of the bay stretched out to meet the endless sky, and there, amidst the shallows, stood a single mangrove, like a sentinel against the tides.
With my camera settings carefully adjusted to capture the essence of the scene, I framed my shot, ensuring that the lone mangrove took center stage in the composition. The surrounding water shimmered, creating a striking contrast with the lush green leaves of the mangrove. It was a reminder of nature's resilience and adaptability.
As I took the photograph, I couldn't help but appreciate the strength of that solitary mangrove. It stood firm, its roots submerged in the saltwater, a testament to the tenacity of life in this harsh coastal environment. The tree's branches reached for the sky, creating a harmonious balance between the terrestrial and aquatic worlds.
The sense of isolation and stillness that surrounded me added to the photograph's impact. Roebuck Bay was a remote and untamed corner of the world, and that lone mangrove seemed to embody the solitude of the bay. It was a place where nature held sway, untouched by the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
With each click of the shutter, I captured the essence of that singular mangrove in the sea, standing resolute amidst the waters. It was a photograph that encapsulated the raw beauty and tranquility of Roebuck Bay, a place where nature spoke in its own language, unaffected by the passage of time.
As I reflected on the moment, I knew that I had captured a slice of the natural world that was both serene and inspiring. The lone mangrove at Roebuck Bay had left an indelible mark on my heart and in the photograph I had taken that day. It was a testament to the enduring power of nature and the beauty of solitude in the wild.
Lone Mangrove, Broome, Western Australia
To be honest, we prefer to ship artwork to you as a finished, ready-to-hang artwork (of course, rolled prints work best when ordering from outside Australia). We believe in quality, finished artwork delivered directly to your door and ready-to-hang. That's service. No more finding a framer, wondering if you’re paying too much, painfully choosing from myriad of frame options then waiting weeks for the job to be done. We use only the best quality materials to ensure your artwork will look amazing and last forever!
We love our Framed Prints. Our stunning Deep Shadow Box Frames (with that sexy spacer between the frame and the print) are just to die for (Frame Measurements - 30mm wide by 40mm deep). The spacer allows the print to sit back from the glass, ensuring it doesn't touch and ruin your print. Offering the best in contemporary framing, your framed print will look AMAZING on your wall. Your print is printed on archival quality papers with archival inks, ensuring your print won’t fade or wrinkle. Your Tom Putt Print comes digitally signed and a small title is added to the left hand corner.
The sizes on the website are for the OVERALL print size - which includes the frame and the digital matt (a white border is added to the print rather than a traditional matt board). We STRONGLY recommend that your artwork be supplied with special non-reflective ArtGlass or 99% UV Museum Glass which means that you can see the beautiful artwork, not the distracting reflection from normal glass. Choose from either the Raw Oak, White or Black finish to suit the style of your home.
* Raw Oak framing suits homes with wooden floor boards and Scandinavian style of furniture.
* White framing suits Hamptons style of design, giving that light, beach feel.
* Black framing suits a darken print and black and white images

Forget what you know about canvas prints. Ours are COMPLETELY different. We source our canvas from the best in the world. It is a 100% seeded, cotton canvas - the best quality canvas you can buy. What does this mean for you? It won't fade, wrinkle, or look horrible in years to come. In fact our canvas has a 75 year guarantee!
Your Canvas Artwork is finished with a stunning Deep Shadow Box Frame in Raw Oak, White or Black (Frame Measurements - 10mm wide by 55mm deep).
Canvas suits a home where you're looking for that painterly feel to the artwork. The texture in the canvas gives the impression that it is a painting rather than a stunning photograph.
Canvas also works well to absorb any light opposite the canvas. So if you have windows opposite your artwork, order the canvas so you don't get any reflections.
What is an Acrylic Print? Think the look of glass but it's not. It looks INCREDIBLE but it's not as heavy or dangerous as glass. It is the same look as many splash backs in kitchens. Your print is between two pieces of acrylic (approx. 5mm thick). The artwork is then hung on the wall using a baton system. Many of our buyers like this finish as it sits close to the wall. This finish suits any modern, light-filled home. Our Acrylic Prints are sure to create that WOW factor.
What the heck is a Metal Print?
I know, I thought the same!
A Metal Print is a photographic print heat-adhered to a thin piece of aluminium, approximately 2mm thick. This keeps the print extremely flat. The print is coated with a high gloss vanish to protect it from dust, moisture, finger prints, etc.
Your Metal Print has incredible impact and comes finished with a Deep Shadow Box Frame in Raw Oak, White or Black (Frame Measurements - 10mm wide by 55mm deep).
This finish suits art that has punchy colours that you want to highlight in a room that has minimal reflections.
Sometimes the simple things in life are often the best. A rolled print is ready for you to do with it what you want. All our rolled prints come with a white border to help it frame superbly. That means that you don't need to pay extra for matting when framing it. The white border is approx. 70mm wide on each side for artwork under 100cms (longest edge) and 90mm for artwork over 100cms. This white border is included in the total size of the print.
