THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
Photographing from above the turquoise patterns of sand beneath the waters of Roebuck Bay in Broome was an enchanting experience that revealed the hidden artistry of the coastal environment. It was a serene morning, and the crystal-clear waters of the bay beckoned me to explore its hidden world with my camera.
As I embarked on a small seaplane that would take me above Roebuck Bay, I felt a sense of anticipation. The pilot skillfully maneuvered the aircraft to provide the perfect angle for capturing the underwater tapestry. The bay, renowned for its stunning turquoise waters, had much more to offer beneath the surface.
The seaplane's altitude allowed me to peer into the depths of Roebuck Bay, where sunlight danced with the underwater sandbanks, creating mesmerizing patterns that shifted and swirled with the currents. The bay's shallow waters, protected by the coastline, were home to a vibrant ecosystem of marine life, including intricate seagrass beds and the remarkable patterns of sand that I had come to photograph.
With my camera in hand, I eagerly captured the view below. The turquoise waters revealed a world of exquisite beauty, with the sun's rays penetrating the surface and illuminating the submerged sandbanks. It was a vision of natural artistry that few had the privilege to witness.
The patterns in the sand seemed to stretch endlessly, their shapes and designs evolving with the ebb and flow of the tides. The water's clarity and the overhead sunlight conspired to create a dreamlike scene, where colors and textures interplayed in a harmonious dance.
Each photograph I took captured a unique moment in time, preserving the intricate patterns of sand beneath the turquoise waters. I couldn't help but marvel at the artistry of nature, where the tides and currents painted a constantly changing canvas.
As the seaplane continued its flight, I relished the opportunity to capture more of this hidden world. With each photograph, I delved deeper into the underwater landscape, where the sandbanks seemed to take on a life of their own. It was a surreal experience, and I was fully immersed in the act of photography.
As the flight came to an end, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to witness and document the turquoise patterns of sand in Roebuck Bay. The seaplane had provided a unique perspective, revealing a hidden world of beauty beneath the bay's serene waters. The photographs I had taken that day were a testament to the artistry of nature, a reminder of the hidden treasures that lie beneath the surface of our coastal environments.

WHICH FINISH?
Great question! Here's what we recommend...
- CANVAS - On trend (we sell heaps) and great for most homes with lots of windows. Soaks up the reflection.
- ACRYLIC - On trend with its frameless look. Suits modern homes with big white walls. Highly reflective though.
- METAL - The shinny version of canvas. It's framed the same way but instead is very shinny and flat.
- FRAMED - Traditional look however we don't sell many framed prints these days.
- ROLLED - Perfect if you have your own framer however, remember framing is expensive!

WHITE BORDER
All Rolled Prints come with a white border. This allows you to have the print framed without having to pay for a mount board.
- 60 x 40cms prints typically have 5cms each side
- 100 x 75cms and larger have 7cms each side.
