Beautiful photographs

As a lover of the Tassie Wilderness I received this book as a gift and loved it. The photos are amazing. I especially liked seeing the mountain and fagus in the different seasons

Owning this Book is a Joy.

This book contains all the images that I wish I could have taken myself. Happy to own such a beautiful volume and browse the images knowing that I didn't have to trudge up muddy mountains in the dark carrying heavy gear myself. Cradle Mountain and the Overland Track coffee table book.

I'm not sure how many superlatives I can add here. I received 2 copies of this masterpiece recently. One, I have posted via snail mail to my son and his newly married wife in England. They were married of the shore of Dove Lake. A beautiful time for my family. Your book is a wonderful reminder of a special time and place. One of those books adorns my own coffee table. Another one will soon arrive in England!

Memories

Really pleased to have this book. Great photographs and beautifully presented. It brings back many happy memories of working at Waldheim and in the Reserve over the summers of 1970-71 and 1971-72. I sometimes worry about the present day numbers being a challenge but then I think the mountains will be there in 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and millions of years' time and they won't remember the quick flash of human visitation...

Photos really do bring back memories, as you say Martin, and it sounds like you had a very happy couple of years in the 70s, at Waldheim and the Reserve. We are so glad this will rekindle those days for you. Cheers Tom & Mary
